Ganji for rainy season to be taken daily for breakfast till rainy season lasts it improves digestion builds immunity to face winter Red rice (or njavara rice) – 100 grams
*Coconut milk – sufficient quantity
*Powders to add: 5 grams each of dry ginger, garden cress (ಆಳವಿ) , coriander seeds, ajwain (carom seeds), cumin
Key ingredient: Dashapushpa churna (10 g) – you may have to buy this from a local ayurvedic shop
Method
*Soak red rice for 5 hours
*Add soaked rice to boiling water and add the powders
*Once the rice gets cooked, add coconut milk
*Temper with ghee and cumin seeds
*Add jaggery/rock salt to taste depending on your taste buds
Ganji 2 bottle gourd ganji
Red rice soak overnyt with 1tsp methi seeds morng cook with water twice d amount after 3 whistle cms switch off add grated bottlegourd half cup n aand 1cup coconut milk n cook with jeera (pepper optional) powder roasted and salt
