Fertiliser for fruiting plants s

Gourds are generally heavy feeders. Generally for all veggies, post flowering stage it requires less of nitrogen and more of potassium. Hence, fertilizers are required which supply nutrients required based on the stage of the plant.

*Potassium rich fertilizers* are

1. Fish amino acids

2. Banana enzyme

3. Mixed Fruit enzyme

4. Moringa enzyme

5. Fermented cake water

6. Kitchen/Vermi compost

7. Bio enzyme for acidic soil loving plants

8. Fermented Peel smoothie

9. Vermiwash spray

10. Potato peels

11. Raw banana peels

*Calcium rich fertilizer*

1. Powdered Egg shells 2. Bone meal

3. Sour Buttermilk

*Magnesium rich fertilizer*

1. Papaya enzyme

2. Epsom salt

3. Vermiwash

🌿A few good source of Nitrogen for plants.

▪️Animal manure.

▪️Used coffee grounds.

▪️Bone meal.

▪️Fish emulsion.

▪️Planting beans plants...natural source of nitrogen.

Manure tea:

U can soak manure for a 1or 2 days...stir morn.and evening .

Dilute and pour on soil for the plants every week.

Add for leafy plants like curry leaf, drumstick greens.

Avoid adding N rich for root crops like carrots beets, radish, turnip, potatoes which needs more potassium than nitrogen.

Use banana peel fertilizer regularly. Use it only for plants that flower ( flowers, veggies, fruits). Avoid this for greens, curry leaves etc. This fertilizer induces flowering

Excess nitrogen would help in top ie leaf growth but not root growth.

Liquid fertilizer recipe:-

2 handful of vermicompost/cowdung manure/simply any manure + 1 handful of Neem cake + 1 handful of any oil cake (Groundnut/Mustard/Coconut/Sesame/Pongame/Castor/Niger/etc.,) + Quarter spoon Himalayan pink salt + 1 pinch SuNNa + half fistful of bonemeal (optional)

Tie all of these ingredients in a permeable cotton cloth and hang the same in jaggery water* in a bucket. Allow it ferment for 24 hours and then mix it with 3 times water for foliar spray. For soil application, it could be diluted 1:3

* jaggery water

Add 150gms.jaggery in a bucket of water...After it ferments add to 30 lit water.

FYI:- Use it within 48 hours for full efficiency,.

Mango peels: They're a great organic fertilizer for your plants.

Put the peeled in a jar, add one glass of water, and close the top tightly. Let it sit for 1- 2 days. Next day, stir the solution and let it sit for another day. Grind the solution with water. You can give this solution to plants every 4-6 weeks.Dilution 1:5

I am not storing ...will dilute and use like banana tea...the mango pieces goes to the compost bin.👍Mango peels has potassuim and phosphorus nutrients..

but one can store n use like booenzyme

burnt wood bio enzyme will help plants like tomato chillie to manage water efficiently wen water stressed
