Today i wanted to make something different as I was bored of routine at such times net comes to my help and I found this recipe here which said its diabetic friendly and decided to make it because hubby likes jowar dishes so I went ahead but I made bit of changes....like I used buttermilk instead of water... It turned out yummy....

Jowar flour             : 2 cups
Thin buttermilk      : sufficient to mix it to thick dosa batter
Onion                     :1 big finely chopped
Green chillies         :4-5
Coriander leaves       :1 tbsp finely chopped

Seasoning :
Mustard seeds, cuminseeds - 1/2 tsp each
Hing - 1 big pinch
Oil - 2tsp

Salt as per taste
oil for making paddu

Heat oil prepare seasoning add onion green chilly and saute for 2 minutes add this to Jowar flour mix well with spoon add salt and butter milk keep stirring so that no lump is formed and when it attains slightly thicker consistency than dosa... Set it aside for 10 to 15 minutes ...
Grease paddu/paniyaram moulds and heat it when hot add the batter and make paddu...

Serve hot with chutney of your preference.....
