Chooda is one snack every liked and made often in North Karnataka....It just takes 5 minutes too.. Chhoda and tea are awesome yummy combination I used to put some chooda into my tea and sip it ...It taste spicy sweet...

I make chooda with Puffed rice, pohe , sabudana pohe, makke ke pohe...

Here I am going to share with you Paper pohe Chooda...

Ingredients

Paper Poha - 2 glasses
Oil - 1/2 cup (a bit less)
Darlic - 1 pod peel and lightly crush
Groundnuts - 1 ladle
Fried gram - 1 ladle
Dry coconut - 1 ladle (chopped like 1 inch thin flakes)(optional)
curry leaves 1/4 cup (I like them so I add more)
Red chilly powder - 2 tblsp
Turmeric powder - 1tsp
Coriander seeds - 1 tsp (optional)

Fennel seeds  - 1 tsp (optional)
Sugar - 1tsp
Salt - as per taste

Tadka

Mustard seeds - 1tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp

Whole Red chilly -   2-3 broken

Method
Dry paper poha in Sun for 2-3 days to make them crisp...or  I usually dry roast them to make them crisp...
Prepare tadka add garlic saute 1 minute then add groundnut fried gram saute take care not to burn  when ground nuts begin to make crackling sound add coriander seed fennel seeds and curry leaves mix well add all the powders and salt mix well switch off stove add crisp poha mix thorougly...Chooda is now ready you can have it with your tea....

Note :
1 . You can make this with green chillies too then you need to slit the green chilly and add along with garlic this gives very nice colour and tastes different too..
